Maastricht for Global Goals

Let's work together

On Wednesday 25 September, Maastricht celebrates the birthday of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs or Global Goals), adopted in 2015 by all 193 members of the United Nations. The Global Goals were envisioned to end hunger, poverty, inequality and climate change,  while providing tools for transitioning to a sustainable society. We can only achieve the Global Goals if we act together locally. That is why Mondiaal Maastricht, together with Maastricht municipality and many partner organizations, is organizing the Act for Global Goals Day, bringing together entrepreneurs and citizens, policy makers and researchers, activists and investors

Come join us at the Act for Global Goals Conference, visit the Global Goals market, go to a Act for Global Goals Movie Night, attend a lecture on Circular Economy or help teach a Global Goals lesson at a local elementary school. Your options are endless. Come be inspired and let’s work together for the Global Goals
